Group Surf Lessons

I had my first ever surfing lesson at the age of 56! I have to say that the teaching was superb and I rode my first wave after about 15 minutes after some beach instruction. The tuition was chilled and I am thinking about my first surf board already. Highly recommended. Unfortunately this is our last day here so I will have to come back next year. Beautiful beach also and a superb retuarant, you’ll definitely be hungry afterwards.

Pink Sand Island Tour

Joel and his crew were absolutely outstanding! We caught approximately 50 pounds of Red Snapper, Bonita, and Jack Cravelle, our Captain & Mate caught us 11 Spiny Lobsters, saw at least 20 Sea Turtles, a German shipwreck and snorkeled off of Pink Sand island! Couldn’t think of a better way to spend half a day! Joel even had a private chef prepare us dinner with our catch and we enjoyed it on the beach ! Can’t wait to come back!

San Juanillo Tour

Thanks to Joel and his crew, we had the chance to surf for our 5-day stay in Nosara, fish, enjoy the wonderful views of the coast from the boat and go spear fishing and snorkeling at San Juanillo beach. While at San Juanillo, we enjoyed the sun, the beauty of the beach, the sea turtles and some fresh food. Joel made us feel home and was a true resource for help, questions and suggestions during our stay. We finally were grateful for all the tips we got from Joel and his instructor during our surf lesson. If you are looking for a great way to spend the day on the water (boating, snorkeling, fishing, surfing or paddle boarding), we highly recommend Joel and his crew!

We booked a morning snorkeling trip to the pink sand island with Joel, the owner. Joel is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and the price for the tour was very reasonable. When we arrived at the pink sand island- which is gorgeous and only accessible during low tide- Joel and his crew member set up a tent for shade and offered us fresh fruit, snacks and cold drinks. The snorkeling equipment was in good condition and we were able to see lots of tropical fish around the island. Before heading home, they drove the boat to an underwater German shipwreck off the coast, and Joel explained the history behind it, which was really interesting. We trolled around looking for sea turtles and saw about 10, which was really cool. After returning home, Joel invited us back around sunset for ceviche. He didn’t have to do that, but I think he genuinely wants his guests to have a great experience. All in all, the trip was totally worth it and we’d definitely do it again.
